With the trend of online shopping these days, people can just sit in the comfort of their home, office or anywhere else to purchase goods.
BzzWorld, an online shopping platform introduced in Papua New Guinea a year ago, launched their mobile app over the weekend. The app will enable customers to shop online – a more convenient and easy way to shop for various products.
This comes at a time where many millennials and even the elderly, are opting for e-commerce, instead of the traditional commerce of shopping in malls and supermarkets.
Oceania President Jaso Huang said, “traditional commerce does not satisfy people anymore, they want more. The BzzWorld E-market makes it easier for people to order products online and have it delivered to them.”
In addition to the launch of the mobile app, JM International also announced its partnership with two local companies; Centrallian Distributors and Food Station.
Local partner Centrallian Distributors will deliver BzzWorld customer’s purchases with convenient addresses at their doorstep.
“Compared to traditional commerce, E-commerce can cut down cost for customers as they will be ordering directly from the sellers,” said Mr Huang.
For customers who don’t have a convenient address, the company is setting up counterpoints at three locations within Port Moresby, where they can pick-up their online purchases. These points will be at Vision City Mega Mall, Waterfront Foodworld and Garden City Shopping Centre.
