Also on this episode, Leanne Jorari interviews Fiji Trade Commissioner in PNG, Mr. Navitilai Tuivuniwai, about his recent visit to the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. The roadshow was a bid to strengthen trade and investment relations between the province and the people of Bougainville and Fiji.
The FTC met with key stakeholders including provincial leaders, the business community and the local and district level representatives. According to Tuivuniwai, ‘there are enormous opportunities for developing long-term partnerships and investments between Fiji and Bougainville’.
