The Rain Tree Hotel by Rimbunan Hijau Group of Companies will be anther landmark for the company.
The ground-breaking ceremony was well attended by various dignitaries includingthe Malaysian High Commissioner Datin Olbery, Executives from RH Group of Companies,the Business community and special guest Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
He ledthe team that performedthe formalities.
The Rain – Tree Hotel will be constructed near Vision City Mall in Port Moresby. It will contain over four hundred rooms along with spacious lobby, executive rooms and state – ofthe art gym, just to name a few.
The Rain – Tree Suite & Apartments is set to attract those who fancy a little bit of luxury. The RH Group has invested over K300million to construct this Hotel.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill commended RH Group for doing business inthe country despite adverse publicity. He said political stability is necessary to attract investors and his government has done just that.
The Prime Minister was presented with a token of appreciation bythe RH Group executives. The Rain Tree Hotel symbolizes growth for the Logging Giant that started its operations in 1989 in Forestrythen diversiflied its operations.
