Alotau: Women organize WalkAgainst Corruption

If there was a time that the Walk against Corruption mattered the most, it would be this year amidst all the hype of the 2012 National General Elections.

Women folk in Alotau took the forefront of the annual Sir Anthony Siaguru Walk Against Corruption to demonstrate their support against such a practice.

The women organized, led the procession and participated in a walk which they believe is a mobilisation against a National epidemic that needs to be eradicated.

Meantime in Port Moresby the Walk against Corruption was led by our very own dedicated women advocate, mother and only women Politician Dame Carol Kidu.

PNG is at the crossroads, a time where resisting corrupt practices will make or break the country’s future and there can only be so much that one group can do and TIPNG is leading the way followed by these committed citizens.
