Minister for Civil Aviation Steven Davis says all ther Airports apart from JacksonsInternational Airport are liabilities tothe National Airport Cooperation.

He saysthey are not commercially viable asthey do not generate money for NAC.

Nadzab Airport costs K2.7 million to keep it running but generates only one million kina.

Meanwhile, Minister Davis is moving to have a new head appointed tothe Civil Aviation Authority.

It’s been without one for some time andthe Ministersays that’s being felt.
