After six months of hard work,the 7 Tumini Lodge is now open for business.
Located inthe Gerehu suburb of Port Moresby, it aims to provide affordable accommodation.
People flockedthe vicinity ofthe new Lodge to withness celebrations. There were various traditional performances including dancers from Goilala, Morobe and parts ofthe Highlands Region.
Guests were also flown intothe city for the event. The 7 Tumini Lodge is something positive in this part ofthe city’s suburb of Gerehu Stage Two. The Lodge is situated next to Tete Settlementoconsidered notorious. Bet that’s about to change asthe Lodge has created jobs for the people inthe area.
It has taken 6 months to completethe 7 Tumini Lodge. The number 7 represents 7 Ward Councilors from Tumini village in Pangia, Southern Highlands province.
The opening ofthe Lodge marked anther milestone for owner Eke Lama. This is his second after Peai, located in Beroko.
He hopesthe 90 room Lodge will provide an alternate accommodation for professionals inthe city.
