The Law and Justice Sector oPNG is mourningthe death of Acting Ombudsman, Gabe Hekoi.
Chairman ofthe LJSS’s National Coordinating Mechanism, Dr Peter Kora described him asthe rock of corporate governance in Ombudsman Commission.
He said Mr Hekoi used his tenure to ensure all governance issues were compllied with and people like him were rare becausethey not only enforcedthe rules, but lived it as part of his life..
Mr Hekoi dlied at age 53 and is survived by his wife and three children.
