The Royal Papua New GuineaConstabulary heldtheir Police Commissioner’s End Of Year Parade inthe Nation’s Capital today.
The parade typically takes place atthe Bemana Police Training College but for the first time, it was performed atthe David Unagi Oval for the general public to beatr withness.
The Australian Federal Police along with cadets from Bemana Police Training College also joined forces for the parade.
The formal proceedings began with Police Commissioner, Tom Kulunga, thoroughly inspectingthe parade of officers
He also thankedthe Australian Government for living up to its priorities throughthPNG-Australia Policing Partnership.
Also, duringthe parade,the AFP personnel and future police officers fromthe Bemana Police Training College, showed flare and elegance.
Despitethe diligence ofthe force,there has been occasional bad press that’s tainted its good image, but Commissioner Kulunga outlined a positive that we all can be proud about.
