Hosted by the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum, the PNG 2015 Mining and Petroleum Conference was held this week in Port Moresby over a three day period.
The annual conference was a platform for bringing together companies and stakeholders and those involved in the mining and petroleum sector, including investors and policy makers.
The Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill was there to officiate the opening of the conference; Resource PNG was fortunate enough to speak with him.
Also on the show, Minister for Petroleum and Energy, Nixson Duban discusses the opportunities that still exist in PNG despite the challenges faced in the petroleum sector.
