Pukpuks vs Zimbabwe, at the Regal Hotels Cup of Nations 2016

The PNG Pukpuks improved performance against Russia has boosted and lifted the team morale, leading into their final encounter against Zimbabwe, this afternoon at 4pm.

Coach Sydney Wesley says the past two days have been focussed on their set pieces, line outs and scrums, which have been an onbviois let down, throughout the tournament.

“We can’t obviously fix scrums and lineouts in just three days, but I’m impressed with the boys preparation over the past three days leading into the match against Zimbabwe,” said Wesley.

The Zimbabweans lost their opening match against Russia, and again against Hong Kong 49-19 on Tuesday evening.

Match kicks off at 4pm local PNG time, at the Hong Kong Rugby Football Stadium.
