The Petroleum sector in PNG is looking forward to the 12th PNG Mining and Petroleum investment conference in Sydney next week.
Richard Kassman country representative for Talisman Energy and board member of the PNG Chamber of Mine and Petroleum said he is anticipating the presentation to be made by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
Special attention will be given to then 2013 budget and the strategic plans behind the numbers.
The conference which begins December 3rd carries the theme ‘A Foundation for Growth and Prosperity: with success comes responsibility’.
Other highlights will include a finance and investment seminar and a presentation on the sovereign wealth fund to be made by the Treasury Department.
