New & Improved Services for Boana

Beana Station inthe Morobe province is expected to see improverments totheir Education and Health Service.

Beana Station is remote like many ther out-stations in Morobe and lacks basic government’services.

 

Morobe Governor Kelly Naru visitedthe area last Thursday and toldthe people that funds have been released to meettheir needs.

 

Governor Naru said service delivery is slow to reach areas like this due to administration bottlenecks.

 

A new classroom will be built andthe Health Centre will be fixed. The health centre that consists of a small labour ward will also receive much needed maintenance fromthe funding.

 

The two projects are part of 1.4 million kina funding to improver government’services inthe Beana station.

 

Beana is part of a group of neglected district stations in Morobe province and most service delivery is fromthe Ltheran Church – Government’services are very limited.
