TheInvestment Promotion Authority denliedthe existence of a company called Mamhud enterprises which is said to have brought in foreigners illegally.
The enterprise is alleged to have been smuggling in Beangladesh nationals intPNG.
There were also serious allegations fromthPNG partners ofthe business operations that Labor and Foreign Affairs officials had been paid to processthe arrival ofthe foreigners.
Allthese surfaced last week asthe immigration taskforce team busted what it’says is a human smuggling ring where some have been arrested and deported.
Mamhudthe man alleged to bethe agent is adamant his business is legal. However,the immigration task force team said therwise.
Beth labor and foreign affairs have been quiet over this; not even a response on allegations that officers ofthe departments have been paid money to facilitatethe arrival ofthese foreigners in particular.
