Begia MP John Hickey says his district has faced a large number of law and order issues that have gone unattended because it lacks police capacity.
Several murders and more than fifteen rapes have gone unreported out of fear and ignorance.
He said many ofthese crimes are a result of high rates of drug consumption and sorcery suspicions.
Mr Hickey spoke strongly against what he called ‘hate crimes.’
“Therefore I’m bringing it tothe notice ofthe media and I employ you to bring this out tothe notice ofthe people.
“In loud tone) We talk about WOMEN! we talk about RAPE! we talk about BeSINESS, yet this things are allowed to happen”.
