PNG Volleyball Star, Lois Garena, is hoping to raisethe bar in 2015.
She was part ofthe volleyball team that competed atthe recent Wallis and Futuna Mini Games in October. She is now part ofthe 2015 Volleyball train on squad.
Coming from a sports oriented background, this lanky young girl followed her dream to one day representthe country.
She stamped her mark onthe court in several international meets includingthe recent Wallis and Futuna mini Pacific Games.
She was well trained under, Aaron Alsop, fromthe Gold Coast Academy, Australia. Alsop with a wealth of experience has equippedthe team and Garena beforethey left for the mini Pacific Games.
Garena started playing volleyball at an early age. Her passion for volleyball can be seen when she’s on court.
Garena is an elite young Papua New Guinea who recently graduated fromthe University of Papua New Guineain Journalism and Public Relations.
She hopes to advance in her volleyball career as well as her trained field.
