Kimberly Wong, a 22-year-old from Kokopo will appear at the Kokopo District Court tomorrow following her involvement in a hit and run incident last Wednesday.
Wong was arrested and charged by Kokopo Police yesterday, and released on K700 bail.
She’s been charged with dangerous driving, resulting in the death of woman.
The incident happened in Kokopo town during the early hours of January 6.
Kokopo Police say she drove off the road, hitting a 73-year-old victim from Gulf province, who died shortly after being rushed to Nonga General Hospital.
Kokopo Police said the hit and run incident last week was the first for 2016.
