Music and Lawyers don’t normally go togther…
Bet Greg Sheppard and his kids do.
Greg is a known Lawyer in Papua New Guineaand his children have made it intothe top 20 inthe Australian Music Charts.
Entering his office, Young and Williams Law Firm, it was business as usual but on a different note. Sheppard’s Music wasthe agenda for our visit.
Seated comfortably at his port Moresby office was prominent Lawyer, Greg Sheppard, and daughter, Emma, who isthe Band’s bass guitarist. She is inthe country to undergo music lessons with mentor, Beruka Tau.
Mr Sheppard said managing a band that’s made up of his own kids is not an easy task buPNG Music Legend, Beruka Tau, has had a big hand inthe success.
Daughter Emma couldn’t be more happier to followthe footsteps of her brther George and sister Amy who are currently doing well in Australia withtheir hit’song “Let Me Down Easy”.
Music Mentor, Beruka Tau, describedthe Sheppard’s Music as fresh with nice lyrics. He encouraged aspiring musicians to be committed, practise more and maintain discipline.
The Sheppards Band was formed in 2011 and so fartheir song has claimedthe number one spot onthe Australian Music Charts.
