Today, Lae Metropolitan Superintendent Anthony Wagambie Jnr. has addressed some of the crimes which are making headlines in Lae, Morobe Province.
These includes the current deportation of three Chinese Nationals; a murder case at 2 Mile; four separate vehicle accidents at 4 mile; motorists who become victims of hold-ups and traffic issues including drink driving accidents.
In addressing these crimes, Metsup Wagambie Jnr commended those involved in investigating the different criminal cases and for the job well done in bringing justice to those who have become victim’s, especially in road accidents.
With the given serious traffic violations, more focus will be diverted into traffic issues, as this is said to result in more road accidents.
Police traffic officers together with the National Road Safety will be working together. This combined operation is said will commence on May 30.
