The EM TV engineering team completed the set up of transmission links in Lae city this afternoon for the live broadcast of the PNG Games.
They are now working on testing out the links from Mt Lunaman to the games venues at the indoor and outdoor stadium.
The satellite connection will enable the live telecast of the PNG Games opening ceremony at the Sir Ignatius Kilage stadium from multiple cameras.
Today also saw the set up of the broadcast booths for the games coverage for the coming two weeks.
EM TV for the first time in Papua New Guinea, will be broadcasting the PNG Games live, as well as recorded stories on the 6pm EM TV News.
Viewers can watch the games starting this Sunday from 1:30pm with the opening ceremony of the games.
The opening ceremony will also see a wide variety of Morobe cultural performance, along with live concert from Christina Anu, Jokema and K-Dumen.
EM TV will be broadcasting the games starting next Monday.
