CHINESE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OPENS BASE IN ENGA PROVINCE

The Guan Dong Foreign Constrction Company (GDFC) had its Enga provincial headquarters base officially opened by veteran Enga governor Sir Peter Ipatas recenlty.


This Chinese construction company have been building government funded projects in Enga Province over the past couple of years which includes the K600 million Enga Referral Hospital, the K16 million Samson Amean Memorial Building, Innovative University of Enga and the Hela Opene Technical College including others.

Sir Ipatas, regardless of the current political instability happenings taking place in Port Moresby, made time available to be present for this historic occasion that will see the first ever base of a foreign company to be established in the province.


Sir Ipatas looking forward to working with the company in the years to come and assured GDFC of the provincial government’s commitment to support in areas of concern.
The GDFC base is located at Rakamanda Station which is a 15 minutes drive outside of Wabag Town and is located along the main Highlands Highway in the Wabag Rural LLG of Wabag District.
