MVIL opens in Northern Province

Motor Vehicle Insurance Limited (MVIL) has extended its services to the people of Northern Province.

On Friday MVIL officially opened its office complex and launched its 2 in 1 sticker comprising of Registration and 3rd Party Insurance in amalgamation with Oro Traffic Registry Services.

This service has been non-existent since 2006 when MVIL withdrew its services due to late returns of financial reports by a number of agents in the province.

The re-opening and launching of MVIL now stamps a new direction for public safety, traffic, police and the Provincial Government. A service where people have been spending money to receive in other provinces.

Speaking at the opening, MVIL Deputy Chairman Eno Daera said, MVIL is proud to bring this service back to the people of Oro. He thanked the Police hierarchy for allocating a space for MVIL to establish. Mr Daera challenged the Provincial Authority to be accountable with the revenue generated and improve lives of Oro people.

Provincial Police Commander Jacob Singura said, road blocks have been ineffective because the province has been without a traffic office to register vehicles and renew licenses. He said, this won’t be the case anymore.

The office was then opened by MVIL’s Mr Daera and Northern Deputy Governor Evertius Bori.
