Chief Momis calls for Christmas unity

Autonomous Bougainville Government President, Chief Dr John Momis, has called for unification in this time of Christmas, among families and communities in the autonomous region.

Chief Momis says the New Year 2016, must be welcomed with a changed and renewed heart, desired for Bougainville.

In his message ‘Christmas In Our Hearts and Christmas in Our Homes’, he said that the joys of Christmas differ from that of any other occasion.

“No matter what situation our situation life is, its always overwhelmed by the Spirit of Christmas,” he said.

Bougainville has persevered following the road to full autonomy.

Chief Momis says Bougainvilleans must take the lead in giving the unconditional support and contribute on its future.

“We all must work together to move Bougainville forward.”

The Bougainville Peace Agreement must be given a chance to succeed, to uplift living conditions for all Bougainvilleans.
