The Catholic TheologicalInstitute in Bemana outside Port Moresby is preparing to celebrate 50 years of Golden Jubilee.
The seminary established in 1963 has beenthe major training grounds for Catholic priest. The Catholic TheologicalInstitute'’s President, Fr. David Willis says preparations are well underway.

Established in 1963 firstly at Madang Province asthe Holy Spirit Regional Seminary, it wasthen moverd to Bemana asthe major training grounds for Catholic priest.
Students Representttative Council PresidentoBe Elias Zambra saysthe Golden Jubilee is a historical event inthe life ofthe church in PNG He said priests who have undergone training inthe Holy Spirit Seminary are also invited.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations will be held in August this year.
