The Capital Rugby Union 7’s competition kicked off atthe weekend atthe Beva Park in Port Moresby.
Teams and players are expecting a challenging year asthe Port Moresby Rugby Union andthe capital union has decided to come togther.
Beva Park was packed with Union fans and supporters overthe weekend as teams all geared up for the games.
A total of fourteen teams will compete for four weekend rounds ofthe 7’s pre- season beforethe 15’s competition kicks off.
Match Co-ordinator Petero Kilori said,the Port Moresby Rugby Union is back as one and is expecting great matches and competitions this year.
Clubs expressed thatthe uniting ofthe Port Moresby Rugby Union andthe Capital Rugby Union has brought a good and positive feeling aboutthe games.
Teams are now looking forward tothe 15’s competition to be kicked off straight afterthe 7’s pre-season.
