Whilst the IRC announced its total half-year tax revenue collection, the Public Employees Association has voiced its concerns on the current taxation regimes.
Speaking in Port Moresby this afternoon (July 26), PEA President, Robert Kutapai, sounded the Union’s concerns on the current marginal tax rate of 35 percent, which, he said was too high for public servants.
The PEA has therefore called on the National Government to review the tax rates, to make it fairer.
