The Brazilians arrived to an overwhelming welcome from their Papua New Guinea fans. They had stopped their shuttle bus to greet them, upon their arrival in Port Moresby this morning.
They shook hands and chatted with them.
Brazil and Korea are some of the big names of FIFA U20 women’s football who arrived today.
Meanwhile, the Korea republic was the third team to arrive, looking relaxed but excited to be here in Papua New Guinea.
The host nation, Papua New Guinea had returned from their trial matches in New Zealand.
Coach, Lisa Coles is confident the first eleven players, will give them a fair challenge when they play Brazil on the 13th this month.
The game will be played at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
