Beach Volleyball

Papua New Guinea Beach Volleyball Federation began today, with a total of 27 teams, 14 men, and 13 women.

There are five divisions with 4 players in each of the divisions, except for division D, with five players.

 

It is part of the PNG Volleyball Federation Calendar of events, to scout talents for the PNG Games, with further training, to represent PNG in the 2015 Pacific Games.

The focus is now based on finding players with more heights.

 

It will be played for ten Sunday’s, starting with Port Moresby, before being rolled out nationwide.

 

It is crucial as time is fast, running out to bring the PNG Beach Volleyball team, to their best before the big games arrive on our shores.

 

During the mini Pacific Games in Wallis and Futuna, the women won silver, while the men won bronze.
