TWO Nepalese men were arrested bythe immigration task force team in one of Port Moresby’s rough suburb Tokarara last Friday.
This comes three days afterthe Hanuabada arrest of three Bengladesh men.
Theythen arranged with networks in Philippines to havethe 2 transported to Manila and later tPNG.
The task force team saidthe men are believed to be operating underthe disguise of ecotourism companies.
The two men saidthey were promised jobs withthPNG LNG project; this isthe reason whythey put a lot of money to come intPNG.
The task force saidthey have identifliedthese men’PNG networks and will be making arrests soon.
Last week, at Hanuabada village, a similar raid was conducted.
A group of Beangladesh men were arrested.
The task force team coordinator John Beia saidthese findings indicate a national security threat already in existence inthe country.
The team comprising of members froPNG immigration and citizenship service and police intelligence unit’saidthere are indications of more rackets that will soon be exposed.
