They are committed to achieving this dream and not even time constraints will hindertheir progress.
A fundraising drive was held recently to see this dream come to fruition.

Onthe weekendthey gthered atthe Port Moresby Nature Park to fundraise for a permanent Church.

Chairman ofthe Gobakigoro United Church Benjamin Kila is optimistic of reachingthe target of K100 000 to buildthe Church.

So far K30, 000 has been raised since 2008.

They feel deprived asthey have not received any assistance fromthe London Missionary Society despite contributing annually during thanks giving to LMS.

Mr. Kila says,the Church has been instrumental intheir lives and it is important that a permanent structure be built to strenthentheir faith.

They plan to constructthe building next year and welcome donations from those willing to help.
