A moratorium has been enforced on overseas travels by Ministers heads of departments, ther government agencies and statutory bodies; and provincial administrators.
The Prime Minister Peter O’Neill announcedthe decision on yesterday.
The announcement is part of a National Executive Council decision made in its meeting last week.
Mr O’Neill said this is to save money and also for ministers and public servants to remain focused on implementation this year.
Forty million kina (K40 million) is expected to be saved.
