Suspended Police Commissioner Calls Out Breach Of Law

Suspended Assistant Commissioner of Police, Thomas Eluh, says the rule of law has been bypassed by parties involved in the current political saga.

Eluh said the National Court made it clear that the warrant of arrest was in Order and the overturn of that decision from the lower courts is a breach of process.

Meanwhile, Mr. Eluh called on all parties to respect the rule of law and solve this matter.

The turn of events in the past 3 weeks has sparked debate all over the country and other parts of the world as well.

Now that the courts have returned the prerogative to the police to call Prime Minister Peter O’Neill in for an interview regarding the payment to Paul Paraka Lawyers, suspended assistant commissioner for police Thomas Eluh says police must not compromise the case.

Mr. Eluh said the country is at stake with a lot of questions drawn towards the compliance of our mother law and due process.

Eluh added that the confrontation this week by the Fraud Squad and Acting Police Commissioner was uncalled for.

He called on all senior police officers to put their heads together to embrace the force to give confidence to the 7.8 million people.

Eluh concluded that it is not about the case of finding Prime Minister Peter O’Neill’s innocence or guilt but the subject of good citizenship submitting to the constitution.
