The Minister for Public Enterprises and State Investments Ben Micah is looking at Singapore as a possible role model for Papua New Guinea.
He believes there are aspects of Singaporeโs system that may be applicable to Papua New Guinea.

Mr. Micah said he was especially interested in the structure and operating processes of the Singapore Governmentโs investment company, Temasek Holdings.

He said the relationship between Temasek, the Governmentโs incorporated sovereign wealth fund, Singapore Investment Corporation, and the central bank, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, had some aspects that might be transferable to Papua New Guinea.
