2015 NRL Finals Set

by Dion Kombeng – EM TV Sports, Port Moresby

The stage is set for the first grand final qualifier when the Sydney Roosters take on the might of the Brisbane Broncos tonight.

Last weekend, the Roosters disposed off the Canterbury Bulldogs 38 points to 12.

While the Broncos had a week off, coach Wayne Bennett, has named the same side that played the Cowboys in the first week of the finals.

The Roosters welcome back Origin half-back, Mitchel Pearce, following a hamstring injury.

This time last year, the Broncos were not in the finals contention, while the Roosters had their finals run crushed by the Rabbitohs who went on to win the competition.

Both the Broncos and Roosters have shown this year that they are both premiership winning material and tonight’s game should go down to who wants it more.

Tomorrow night will feature the Melbourne Storm face the North Queensland Cowboys with a spot in the 2015 Grand Final on the line.
