By Vasinatta Yama –  EM TV, Port Moresby

Papua New Guinea Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry can now operate in a proper office space.

The City Pharmacy Limited Group gave the Non-Governmental Organisation a cubical at Jack’s, Waigani Central.

The office will serve as the headquarter to run the Chamber’s business.

The Women’s Chamber, started in 2013, and has a membership of more than 200 members in Port Moresby alone.

They provide basic skill development programs for women to excel in business and leadership.

PNG Women Chamber of Commerce has helped a lot of women who run their own businesses, women who do not have the basic skills needed.

Now that they have an office space, their goal now is empowering women in business and leadership roles.

However, they cannot go further as they are not registered.

The Women’s Chamber is calling on PNG’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry to approve their applications.

They are extending an invitation to all women to join the Chamber.
