PNG Rugby League Chairman Sandis Tsaka has made it clear as to why Bob Cutmore was terminated as the PNGRFL CEO.
He was terminated a week ago after a special board meeting was held.
Cutmore was appointed in October of 2015 to develop and achieve certain goals and objectives both in terms of football operations and governance.
Unfortunately, some of the goals and achievements were not met.
Meanwhile, the Board has appointed a caretaker administration headed by PNGRFL Treasurer Reatau M Rau, to oversee the operations of the PNGRFL.
Tsaka made it clear that a PNGRFL CEO is to think two-three years ahead, and start planning to improve the sport in the country. They will be putting out an advertisement on the vacancy of the CEO position later this month.
The termination takes effect immediately, and the decision was relayed to him straight after the board meeting. This is the first time a PNG RFL CEO has been terminated from office.
