Community leader and former Tari Komo member, Sir Matiabe Yuwi, has called on Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, and sacked ministers Don Polye, and William Duma, to set aside political differences.
He made this comments after seeing the recent government reshuffle, the UBS loan saga, and issues like the Unitech boycott.
“A stable government will see efficient and sufficient flow of goods and services to people in all districts around the country,” he added.
Sir Yuwi said, PNG is entering a crucial economic development, and our national leaders should unite to bring the nation forward. He said, the seven million people will either benefit or suffer with the decisions leaders make.
All leaders are good leaders, it’s the way they operate that will make this country stand upright, or fall to the dogs, Sir Matiabe stressed.
He called on Mr O’Neill, Mr Polye, and Mr Duma, to come together in a round table discussion, and resolve their differences and move the country forward.
