Serritslev Questions Referee’s Decision After PNG’s Loss

Flemming Serritslev has called into question the decisions by the World Cup Qualifiers’ referee after Papua New Guinea crashed out of the World Cup Qualifying campaign last night.

Referee Jumpei Iida was at the centre of attention from both irate fans as well as a furious PNG bench, after the sending off of defender Felix Komolong in the 30th-minute.

Serritslev says, that the red card received by Komolong last night, as well as that received by midfielder David Browne in March, were contributing factors to PNG’s results.

“The FIFA Slogan is ‘My Game is Fair Play’, unfortunately we have not had fair play in the two last home matches. We have been refereesd in a way that has been deciding for the match against Tahiti where David Browne was sent off, totally without making a free kick and tonight, Felix was sent out in a very unfair way”.
