Since commencing operations in 2012, the East Sepik Oil Palm Project has been welcomed by communities in the Turubu area.
The oil palm project has opened doors to government services, but most importantly, opportunities for communities to take part in the spin-off benefits to improve their living.
Recently the project reached a new milestone with the commissioning of the project’s mill.
And, with a continuation from last week’s episode, we take a look at how the cocoa industry is making a comeback and its impacts on small-holder farmers in East New Britain province.
