The Rabaul Queen trial continued today following its adjournment last Thursday.
Three state witnesses were called into the National courtroom in Kokopo to testify.
There were close similarities in evidence revealed by the three witnesses before, during and after the ship sunk.
The case has again been further adjourned to tomorrow morning.
More witnesses are expected to testify in court over the coming days.
Witnesses currently living in Buka are expected to be flown into to Kokopo to testify during the trial.
Police prosecutors in Kokopo say they are working on securing a budget from the police department that will cater for the transportation and accommodation of approximately 61 state witnesses from Buka.
