Price Waterhouse Coopers Supports Women

Recognizing the significant role that women play in the country, Westpac Bank PNG Limited is into its eighth year of identifying and awarding women leaders in the country.

Joining Westpac again for the eighth year running is Price Waterhouse Coopers, who donated funds towards Westpac’s Outstanding Women Awards 2014.

 

A cheque presentation of twenty five thousand kina was given to Westpac yesterday, to assist in the Wastpac Outstanding Women Awards for 2014.

 

Platinum sponsor for the Awards, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Human Capital Director, Laura Koskinen said this was one way the company could give back to the country and women especially.

 

A dummy cheque was presented to Westpac Bank Managing Director, Geoff Toone.

 

PWC has been the platinum sponsor of the awards since its inception in 2007. Through the WOW awards, PwC aims to further develop leadership talent within the private and corporate sector to inspire and lead change.

 

Price Waterhouse Coopers is the sponsor for the Private Sector award which recognizes outstanding achievement by a female manager in the public sector who has contributed significantly to the performance of a company or business unit.
