The PNG Men's Basketball League will be send a team to the 9TH Pacific Youth Championships in Melbourne Australia.
The event is locked in for the 24th of November to December the 02nd and will be conducted in Churchill, the State of Victoria.
Head Coach of the PNG Men's Team Lawrence Lahari says the team has been hard at training with most players coming from the Men's semi-pro competition.
This event was formerly called the FIBA Oceania Youth Tournament for male and female basketball players who are 19 years and under.
The youth Championships have grown to be the most important event on the FIBA Calendar.
