Pacific Games Committee Visits Tabubil’s Sporting Facilities

The 2015 Pacific Games Committee recently visitedthe Tabubil sporting facilities.

Chief Executive Officer Peter Stewart was inthe Province to inspect potential training venues for athletes in preparation for the 2015 Pacific Games.

 

The Ok Tedi Mine limited tookthe 2015 Pacific Games CEO Peter Stewart on a tour, showing offthe sporting facilities which could potentially cater for athletes when in training.

 

The Sporting facilities include a gymnasium, multi-purpose indoor court areas, squash and tennis courts, swimming pool, soccer, rugby and ther outdoor sports fields.

 

 

Ok Tedi is one ofthe major sponsors ofthe games through its platinum sponsorship. Mr.

 

Stewart also visited schools, bringing tothe childrenthe message of community involvement and engagement inthe games.
