Namibia Hopes to Improve Standing

Team Namibia is hopeful to improve their standing in the World Cricket League Championship and the Inter-Continental Cup, during their four meets with the Hebou PNG Barramundis.

Namibia Coach Dee Thakur said with his team, currently on 7th placing in both competitions, the team will bring its best to the crease.

Namibia Coach, Dee Thakur says the conditions may differ compared to their normal settings in the Cricket South Africa competition; they have met with PNG in a T/20 match, last year, where they were successful.

Though anticipating strong opposition, he hopes his team can come out on top.

Meanwhile, the Barramundis are currently 6th in the Inter-Continental Cup and 4th in the World Cricket League Championship, and with home ground advantage, they are prepared to put up a good performance.

Though, Barramundis Skipper Assad says, that raises more expectations for them.

Coach Dipak Patel is now looking forward to seeing a positive outcome after two weeks of their South Australia Tour, in which, the combination of all- rounder Mahuru Dai, Chad Soper and Skipper Assad Vala, proved fruitful.

Their first Inter-Continental Cup match kicks off this Sunday.
