Huon Gulf MP, Ross Seymour says the K10 million district funding from the National Government is enough to deliver services, if the money is spent in the right areas and accounted for.

Yesterday, a primary school in the district received support, a library from NGO, the ‘Rural Volunteer Library Services’, a new ablution block, both funded by the Huon Gulf district. But, that’s just one primary school in the district there is more work to be done.
Yesterday, Morobe Governor, Kelly Naru attended the ablution block and library opening, again, commitments were made yesterday. Both Naru and Seymour talked of building more classrooms and teacher houses in the district before 2017.
In 2016, districts have been allocated about a third of the National budget, but that’s on paper, in real terms there is still a cash flow problem.
The Morobe politicians told the people, that there is a cash problem and service delivery depends entirely on how fast Waigani can release the money.
