Manus Asyum Deal: Mixed Reactions From Manusians

Many people from Manus are still not aware ofthe Manus Asylum Seeker Deall.

 

The number of people who spoke atthe Manus Provincial DayCelebrations held in Port Moresby’still didn’trsquo;t knowthe benefits ofthe Deall.

While people enjoyedthe Garamut beat atthe Besini grounds, those who came to withnessthe Manus Provincial Daycelebrations gave views onthe Manus Asylum Seeker deal.

There were mixed feelings asthe people from Manus residing inthe Nation’s Capital deliberated onthe issue.

 

“Our generation is expanding and we needthe land to cater for the people inthe future&hellipthe government’should have properly consultedthe landowners before bringing in asylum seekers.”
