Ela Motors held its trade contest last week in three categories at their Ela Academy.
The company is a distributor of automotive and marine products.
Its comprehensive service has been tested through the trade contest. Categories tested were customer services, mechanics and the intricacies of selling Toyota products.
Tradespeople who were put through a simulation of customer interactions’ during sales. Automotive Mechanics were also tested on pre-sales diagnosis.
The trade contest competition was held on Wednesday during the day. Then later in the evening competition victors were rewarded.
Two women took part in the trade testing this year. Among the winners of the trades-persons test were two female apprentices.
The Trades Test and the Ela Academy are recognized by the National Apprentice and Trade testing Board.
