The auditor general’s office has embarked on the process of restructuring itself to improve and increase service delivery.
Today, it launched its new and redesigned website, making information like audit reports readily available.
Also there at the launch were office’s from the Ombudsman Commission, the Constitutional Law Reform Commission and Certified Practicing Accountants.
The new website is part of overall efforts to restructure the auditor general’s office to increase service delivery to stakeholders. Auditor General Philip Nauga is happy with the progress, saying productivity in the workplace has already increased with the new website and the office renovations complete.
All current information can be found on the website. These include audit reports, which can be downloaded.
Stakeholders can also find information on the Audit Law Act Review process the office is currently undertaking. Mr Nauga said more features will be added to the site over time.
The auditor general’s office already has an account on LinkdIn, a business-oriented social networking platform, as well as a newsletter, which stakeholders and those interested can subscribe to.
