The country’s national flag carrier, Air Niugini, is proud to be the official carrier of this year’s Pacific Games Papua New Guinea is host to.
Chief Executive Officer Simon Foo, speaking to EMTV News today, congratulated participating teams for taking part in one of the Pacific’s biggest sporting events.
Foo said that the national airline’s role in the Pacific Games was vital in the movement of passengers and cargo from Pacific countries to Port Moresby.
Mr Foo also announced that Air Niugini, a member of the Association of South Pacific Airlines will continue to improve its services, in preparation for upcoming international events such as the next 2018 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Meeting which will be held in PNG.
He said that Air Niugini is a key player and will continue to support and deliver on the national government’s expectation.
