People Activist Noel Anjo praised Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare on his move to the middle bench.
Anjo says the decision is an eye opener for all government ministers and MPs to consider and make better decisions for their people.
He says the recent move by MPs crossing political pathways casts a shadow over the current government’s ruling regime.
“People are watching as the government carries out its plan but leaders in parliament have to make their own decisions for good governance,” Anjo said.
Anjo said people are not blind and are keeping a watchful eye on the political arena. He added that Sir Michael’s move was bold and straightforward.
“He did the move with his conscience,” Anjo said. Meanwhile, Anjo has called on all people to talk to their MPs regarding good governance, political stability and sound economic development.
Anjo also raised sentiments over the current move by the Triumph Heritage Party to join the Opposition team. “I’m not surprised the wind of change blows.”
