Police Arrest Manus Robbery Suspect

Manus Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in relation to an Armed Robbery incident, involving a refugee.

The suspect Eddie Molou, from Tong Island in the Rapatona LLG was charged for Armed Robbery yesterday.

Police alleges that Molou and two other suspects held up the victim, a refugee from Bangladesh had stole a Samsung Galaxy Phone and K600 in cash.

The incident occurred on the 18th of December, 2017 as the victim was returning from a medical check at the Lorengau General Hospital.

Provincial Police Commander, Chief Inspector David Yapu said identities of the other two suspects are known to police.
